The third purchase was midway through Day 2 with Lot 546 Prado Red [AUS] from the Godolphin Stable for $18,000. The 3yo filly by Exceed And Excel [AUS] who is a winner from three starts is a half sister to the million dollar Hong Kong performer Mr Gnocchi [AUS] and hails from the Aspen family, one of the best in the stud book.

A two year old winner by Widden Stud’s Golden Slipper winner Sebring [AUS] and in-foal early to Three Bridges Magic Millions winner Unencumbered [AUS] the mare was a standout on type and breed to produce the farm another top two year old performer. Her three year old half sister Brigadoon Rise [AUS] was a close 4th in the Gr.3 Carr Stakes a few weeks ago for trainer Peter Snowden and with a very active family it was an exciting purchase for client Jan Clark and Daandine Stud.
The final buy was Lot 646 Baby Boom [AUS] for $26,000. The mare is by Australian champion sire Redoute’s Choice [AUS] from a prolific two year old family and sold in-foal to Duporth [AUS] with her yearling this year by Duporth [AUS], a super type, fetching $80,000 to the bid of Aquanita at the Magic Millions January Sale.
