Well bred filly wins on debut

The well bred 3yo filly French Toast couldn’t have been any more impressive with a blistering turn of foot to win her maiden on debut in fine style.  Owner Roger Davis has been very patient with the staying bred filly who is by the ill fated Norther Meteor out of the Sadler’s Wells mare Tangerine Dream, making her a half sister to the Gr.1 winner Pear Tart.  Trainer David Vandyke turned the filly out in beautiful order and despite the race being over the unsuitable short 1,200m distance she showed her class to get the job done.  French Toast was a Boomer Bloodstock private purchase as a weanling from Three Bridges Thoroughbreds and looks to have a very bright future indeed!
