Flashy chestnut Prize Catch stamped himself as a stayer on the rise with an impressive win at Belmont today stepping up to 1650m.  Champion WA trainer Lindsey Smith had the Zoffany gelding trained to the minute as he sat back and smoked his pipe before letting down with a devastating turn of foot to win with ease.  The win took his record to 14 starts for 3 wins and 5 placings.  Prize Catch was purchased by Boomer for $42,000 at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale for the Belhus Racing Syndicate.
