Double Touch Last to First

Euro import Double Touch (GB) showed his tremendous turn of foot to win impressively down the 6 ½ furlong Santa Anita turf course in a $60,000 second level allowance event earlier today.  Trainer Dan Blacker had the gelding primed for his first up performance off a five month layoff while jockey Flavien Pratt had ice running through his veins as he had the gelding positioned last in the nine horse field with a furlong to go although he unleashed a devastating sprint to win strongly on the line.

Double Touch was purchased by Boomer Bloodstock at the 2016 Tattersalls Horses In-Training Sale for £70,000 for his great group of owners; Rick Gold, Road Runner Racing, Scott MacDonald, Radley Equine and Ken Smole.  He will now target stakes races over the coming months.
